Frequently Asked Questions
About This Healing Journey

Whether your separation happened six months ago or twenty years ago, if you’re still carrying the patterns, roles, or survival strategies you once needed to endure that chapter, now is the time to rise. It’s time to unchain yourself from identities that were never truly yours and step into the woman you were always meant to be – beyond the pain, the story, and the survival.

Is Unchained Unicorns a grief support group?
No. While emotional pain is honored, this is not a grief group. Unchained Unicorns is a transformational journey of self-reclamation. We focus on helping you heal your core wounds, reconnect to your true Self, and embody your worth. Healing happens through integration and reconnecting with who you truly are.

Is this program about healing from heartbreak
While many women are drawn to Unchained Unicorns after a heartbreak, this journey is not limited to relationship loss. This program is for any woman who feels ready to heal the deeper parts of herself – the core wounds, survival patterns, and unconscious beliefs that shaped how she related to herself and others. Heartbreak may be the catalyst, but it is not the focus. The focus is on your healing, reclaiming your worth, your sovereignty, and your true identity. It’s about stepping into a new relationship with yourself, rooted in truth, wholeness, and self-leadership.

Will we talk about the past?
Yes – but with intention and purpose. You’ll be guided to reflect on your past through thoughtful homework assignments that help you understand your core wounds, unconscious beliefs, attachment patterns, and survival strategies. We don’t dwell in old stories. We revisit them only to better understand how they shaped you – so you can reclaim your power and begin choosing from a more conscious, aligned version of yourself.

Will we be talking about our exes or what happened to us?
Very little. While past experiences may naturally arise, the focus is not on analyzing the other person or staying stuck in the story. The focus is on your healing, your emotional truth, your nervous system, and your conscious Self.

Emotional + Readiness Questions

What if I don’t feel fully ready but know I need this?
You don’t need to have everything figured out or feel completely fearless to begin – but you do need to be willing. This journey asks for emotional readiness and a sincere commitment to your growth. Unchained Unicorns is not a passive experience. It’s a deep, transformative process that invites you to face old wounds, interrupt unconscious patterns, and rise into a more empowered version of yourself. True change begins when you meet yourself with honesty, curiosity, and care.

I’m still feeling emotional about my past. Is this space for me?
Yes – if you’re ready to face what’s beneath the surface. This work doesn’t require you to have it all together. It asks only that you’re willing to meet your emotions with honesty and courage. You won’t be left in your pain. You’ll be supported, guided, and resourced every step of the way as you move through what’s been holding you back – toward healing, integration, and empowered self-leadership.

I feel like I should be “over it” by now. Is it too late to heal?
It is never too late to come home to yourself. Healing is not about “getting over it” – it is about integrating, evolving, and remembering who you truly are.

What if I’m scared to face old wounds?
Fear is natural. We honor your nervous system and move at a compassionate pace. You will be supported with grounding tools, somatic practices, and a safe space that respects your process.

What if my heartbreak wasn’t from a romantic relationship, but from a family or friendship betrayal?
Abandonment, betrayal, loss of self – are universal. If you recognize yourself in these patterns, this is a safe space for you.

Will this program help me attract healthier relationships in the future?
Yes – but not through tips or quick fixes. When you do the deep inner work of healing, something profound happens: you begin to embody your worth, trust your clarity, and move from self-responsibility rather than old survival patterns. From that place, you naturally start attracting and choosing relationships that reflect your truth – ones that honor who you are becoming.

What if I experienced narcissistic abuse?
Many women who are drawn to this work have experienced emotional manipulation, betrayal, or invalidation. While we honor the reality of these wounds, we do not focus on labeling others. We view these dynamics through a deeper lens – as manifestations of the wounded ego, both in others and within the parts of ourselves that once accepted less. Instead of focusing outward, we shift the focus inward:

  • Healing the parts of you that tolerated what did not honor your soul
  • Reclaiming your voice, boundaries, and self-worth
  • Choosing new, conscious patterns rooted in respect, truth, and love
Program Structure + Participation

Do I have to be recently separated or divorced to join?
No. Women join from many stages of life – recently separated, divorced decades ago, remarried, or simply feeling ready to heal at a deeper level.

Can women currently in relationships join?
Yes. Relationship status does not matter. This work is about healing your relationship with yourself first and foremost.

What if I’m not comfortable sharing in a group
Although highly encouraged to share, you are never required to share anything you’re not ready to.

Are the homework assignments easy to read?
Yes. The assignments are designed to be reader-friendly and accessible for individuals whose first language isn’t English, as well as those with learning differences.

Will I have to share my personal story with the group?
No. Sharing is always an invitation, never an expectation. Your process is sovereign and respected.

How big are the groups?
We intentionally keep each group small (typically 6 women) to create an intimate space where every voice is heard and honored.

Will there be 1:1 support available?
Yes. Every participant receives one 30-minute private 1:1 support call each week during the 16-week program. Additional private time beyond the included calls may be available case-by-case for an extra cost.

What if I miss a session?
We encourage full attendance to honor their commitment, but we understand life happens. There are no replays, to protect the confidentiality of the live sharing.

What happens if I need to withdraw after starting?
Because space is limited and the group depends on trust, refunds are not offered once the program begins.

Is there a private online community between sessions?
Yes. You will have access to a private, secure community space for connection, sharing, and support.

What should I bring to the live sessions?
Bring yourself exactly as you are. Additionally, we recommend a journal, a pen, a quiet and safe space, and anything that helps you feel grounded, such as a candle, blanket, or warm tea.

Can I stay anonymous if I’m not comfortable sharing my real name?
We require real names for registration, but you may use a different name during sessions if you feel safer doing so.

Do I have to have my camera on during sessions?
Yes, cameras need to be on to foster trust and connection. If you need to turn it off for part of a session for emotional reasons, we honor and support your process.

Spiritual Approach

Is this therapy?
No. This is not clinical therapy. It is a spiritually-rooted, trauma-informed healing journey focused on emotional integration, identity transformation, and sovereign self-leadership.

What if I’m currently in therapy or working with a coach?
Unchained Unicorns can complement therapy or coaching, but it requires emotional readiness for deeper self-inquiry. If you are currently in therapy, we recommend discussing participation with your therapist to ensure it aligns with your healing path. This program is not a substitute for clinical support, it is a path of deep emotional empowerment, identity reclamation, and conscious rebirth.

Is this program religious?
No. We honor all spiritual paths and belief systems. Unchained Unicorns is grounded in universal spiritual principles: presence, love, sovereignty, truth, and wholeness. We draw inspiration from teachers such as Dr. Joe Dispenza, Ram Dass, Eckhart Tolle, and other spiritual teachers and masters. We also support practices like Dr. Joe Dispenza’s meditations, helping to integrate healing at the mind-body-soul level.
